This year, IPW Fest in Sicily offers something special – a brand-new program of optional excursions! Join us to discover even more of the charm of this amazing island and enrich your festival experience.
Below you'll find a description of three unique and carefully planned optional trips that will take you to the most picturesque corners of Sicily. Each one offers a unique experience at a different level of intensity.
Zingaro Hardcore – Lo Zingaro Nature Reserve
For those who aren’t afraid of a challenge and want to earn their reward with a swim in crystal-clear sea water.
Lo Zingaro Reserve is the oldest protected area in Sicily, stretching over 7 km between Scopello and San Vito Lo Capo. We offer a loop-style trekking route that includes the popular coastal path and the scenic “di mezza costa” trail. The hike ends with a swim in the Cala Capreria bay.
The route is demanding but rewards you with stunning views and contact with wild nature.

Monte Cofano Chill – Monte Cofano Nature Reserve
An option for those who value connection with nature, local history, and a relaxed hiking pace.
Monte Cofano Nature Reserve is a picturesque area on the western coast of Sicily. A panoramic trail along the rocky shoreline offers views of the Cofano and Bonagia bays, as well as cliffs descending into the turquoise sea.
We’ll visit Grotta Mangiapane with its traditional Sicilian architecture and coastal watchtowers – San Giovanni and del Tono.
We propose a peaceful walk, starting at Grotta Mangiapane and following a gentle seaside trail to the Frassino valley, where there’s a beach perfect for relaxation and swimming.

Favignana Mix – Favignana Island
A perfect balance of light activity, trekking, and beach relaxation.
Favignana is the largest of the Egadi Islands, where the sun reflects in turquoise bays. Our trip begins with a hike up Monte Santa Caterina (314 m above sea level), from which there’s
a panoramic view of the island and surrounding sea.
After descending from the summit, an optional bike trip along the eastern coast of Favignana reveals wild coves and hidden beaches, with the chance to swim in the sea. The bike route is easy, and for added comfort, electric bikes are available for rent (approx. €10/day).
